Cockle Creek is the most southerly point you can drive in Australia. It’s also on the edge of the Tasmanian World Heritage Wilderness Area.

Getting There

We are only 35 minutes South of Hobart. Follow the Southern outlet. Once you have crossed Vince's Saddle, driving up and down the winding roads, you enter the Huon Valley with spectacular views into the Southern wilderness. You drive through Huonville, the ‘capital’ of this famed apple, cherry and berry growing region, turn right after the bridge crossing the Huon River. After one kilometre, you'll see our red letterbox and the BIG.SHED.HOUSE signage.
