Destination
BIG.SHED.HOUSE provides access to the best of Tasmania’s art, culture, food, wine, and natural beauty.
Only a kilometre away from all the conveniences of Huonville, the ‘capital’ of this famed apple, cherry and berry growing region, a mere 5, 10 or 15 minutes away from the villages of Ranelagh, Franklin and Cygnet, and a vast array of local wineries, quality food producers, providores, local bakeries, cafes, restaurants and farmers markets.
Hobart, Australias smallest capital city (with some disproportionately big attractions), is a 35 minute drive away (the airport is approximately 50 to 60 minutes)
The Huon Valley
Tasmania’s Huon Valley is one of the most loved food and nature destinations in Australia with travellers flocking to the region from interstate and overseas. Well known for its long history of apple growing, craft cider makers, boutique winemakers, quality salmon producers, and other homegrown produce. Incredible natural beauty, with pristine Huon River and Far South coastline, mountain ranges, World Heritage-listed national parks, tall forests, caves, and iconic bush walks.
